A database that brings together texts from nearly 10 individual corpora, the English Language Collection contains over 41,000 texts by tens of thousands of individual authors, dating from the 13th to the 20th centuries. The individual corpora include Early English Books Online by the Text Creation Partnership (EEBO-TCP) and many smaller collections from Chadwyck-Healey/ProQuest, such as Bibles in English, Early American Fiction, Early English Prose Fiction, Editions and Adaptations of Shakespeare, English Poetry Full-Text Databases, English Prose and Verse Drama, American Drama, and Nineteenth Century Fiction.
